What to Expect at Trinity

  • People praying or reading during a church service inside a church with stained glass windows.

    Worship in the Sanctuary

When you join us for worship at Trinity’s Sanctuary, you can expect a warm welcome and a traditional Christ-centered service rooted in the Methodist tradition. Our worship blends scripture, prayer, preaching, and music to help us grow together in faith. Services typically include hymns accompanied by the organ and choir, scripture readings, a sermon, and a time of prayer. Whether you’ve grown up in church or are attending for the first time, you’ll find a meaningful, reverent, and welcoming worship experience.

  • A man and woman at Bible study, looking at a Bible together.

    Sunday Morning Groups

Sunday mornings at Trinity offer opportunities for people of all ages to grow in faith and community. Groups gather at 9:15 a.m. for Bible study, discussion, and fellowship before worship. We offer classes for children and adults—ranging from traditional Sunday school to conversational study groups. Whether you’re new to faith, looking to connect with others, or seeking to deepen your discipleship, there’s a place for you.

  • Colorful stained glass window depicting Jesus Christ, with a halo, in a mosaic style.

    Holy Communion

At Trinity, we celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month as part of our worship service. In the United Methodist tradition, Communion is open to all—you do not need to be a member to participate. We typically receive Communion by intinction, where you’ll be given a piece of bread to dip into the cup. A gluten-free option is available at each service so that everyone may fully participate in this means of grace. All communion options are alcohol-free.

What do we mean by traditional worship?

Interior of a church with a large illuminated cross hanging from the ceiling, wooden beams, hanging lantern-style lights, and a brick wall in the background.

At Trinity United Methodist Church, “traditional worship” means gathering in reverence and joy to glorify God through the rich heritage of the Christian faith. Our worship includes Scripture, prayer, and preaching centered on God’s Word, with hymns led by choir and organ. We follow the rhythm of the Christian year—Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Pentecost—celebrating God’s grace in every season. Traditional doesn’t mean old-fashioned; it means rooted: grounded in timeless truths, formed by faith, and open to the Spirit moving among us today.
